A message from Jane-

Thank you for visiting my website. Here I'd like to share with you a little bit about me and how Right Foot Yoga came to be:

Driven to share my passion for yoga with others after earning my Mastery of Yoga instructor certification, I began offering classes - first to my colleagues, then to school students and later branching out into the community. Later, I took it to the next level by completing two hundred more hours of intense and transformational training for yoga instructors. And when I wanted more I signed up for the 500 hour Advanced Teacher Training. My apprenticeships took place at the Body Art Studio, under the direction of body artist Michelle Dawson. These amazing experiences, recognized by the Yoga Alliance, have expertly offered inspiration from many teaching styles and various forms of yoga.

My 500 hour advanced teacher training included a dissertation with a focus on healing yoga for cancer patients and survivors, and honed in on talking, wisdom and healing circles. There will be more to come about circles for discussion as time and space allows. Anyone who would like further information on these, should make a request in the question box on the submission form found on the Contact Us page.

Because of our new venue, I am more excited than ever to continue sharing the path of Right Foot Yoga. We now have the wonderful optional advantage of outdoor yoga--adjacent to the beautiful pond with the natural backdrop of the mountains, the skies, the rustling of the winds and the surrounding sounds of mother nature! I just love designing and leading creative classes that are infused with down-to-earth uplifting philosophy and choreogaphed to music that will encourage participants to breathe, smile, enjoy the work, yet have fun and relax!

I'd like to personally invite you to take advantage of practicing yoga right here in Livingston Manor! Classes are now being held at the Upward Brewing Company, 171 Main Street, Livingston Manor. No appointment or reservation is necessary, and walk-ins are always welcome! We have plenty of mats and props, but you are free to bring your own if you wish. All you need is your good attitude and loose-fitting clothing in which you can move, bend and stretch. The following list may answer some of the questions you may have:

And lastly, if you've never done yoga before or if you've tried it and just couldn't go back, please read "10 Things a Beginner Should Know Before Giving Up On Yoga" by opening the following article:
